Klevis Lasku

Klevis Lasku – Winds, Brass

Klevis Lasku is an ASU student who has played the saxophone since 2017. He has done marching band at Pinnacle High School for 5 years, starting in the 8th grade and played and marched the saxophone during that time. After high school, Klevis was a woodwind technician and taught how to march and how to play music for the marching band at Pinnacle High School after he graduated.

Klevis is currently also working as a music instructor at International School of Arizona, in partnership with Arizona School of Music, for their band and orchestra program while also teaching woodwind and brass instruments as a one-on-one instructor. Watching the students grow and have fun playing their instruments is his greatest joy when teaching music.

Klevis is currently graduating with his bachelors in Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology at ASU and is currently in his masters program for Cell and Molecular Biology. Klevis hopes to go into medical school and become a family doctor while also doing research, especially research geared towards regeneration.

As for some fun facts about Klevis, he can speak two languages fluently. These languages are English, of course, and Albanian. Klevis’s family came from Albania and immigrated into the United States in 1997. Klevis has three brothers, one younger brother and one older brother. The older brother played tuba in high school while his little brother played in the same marching band as Klevis did and played the trumpet. His little brother also marched in DCI (Drum Corp International) and played the trumpet for the Academy. Finally, Klevis likes chemistry and biology!

Mr. Klevis has been teaching at ASM since 2023.
