Strings/Brass

Emily is a born musician, starting choir at age 4, and has lent her talent to almost every instrument over her career. Her primary instruments are cello and euphonium, but she is also highly proficient on violin.

She received a BA in music from Hastings College in 2001 and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2007. As a member of a professional choir she has been recorded on 11 full ensemble CDs and 6 small group CDs. 

Over her career in music Emily has been part of the Colorado Symphony, principal cellist for the Scottsdale Symphony and is currently playing for the North Valley Symphony. She was a member and conductor for Blessed Brass ensemble and Gabriel’s Horns. 

She lives in Scottsdale with family and pets. In addition to being a musician, Emily is a Reiki Master. She has taught at Arizona School of Music since 2024.
