CJ is a remarkable young instructor with a passion for music that has been woven into the fabric of his life from an early age. CJ began his musical journey in 2014 as a student in group piano at Arizona School of Music (at the time known as Kirk’s Studio for the Performing Arts) CJ continued with group lessons for years. He eventually made the move to private lessons and became a standout student. So much so that we made him an instructor.

The piano holds his heart, but CJ’s musical repertoire extends to the trumpet, drums, harmonica, and bass, showcasing a versatile musical prowess. CJ, with his infectious charisma, finds joy in sharing his musical knowledge as a teacher at ASM. CJ joined the ASM faculty in 2023.

Fun fact –

CJ took 3rd in chess in the state of AZ in 4th grade.
