Seoin K.
Seoin K. is a passionate violinist and dedicated educator currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Violin Performance at Arizona State University under Dr. Jonathan Swartz.
Seoin (pronounced “Saw-een”) earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea, after completing her studies at Kaywon Arts High School. As an active performer, she has appeared as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and performed across major concert halls in Korea and the U.S. Her artistic excellence has been recognized with top prizes at competitions such as the 45th Haneum Competition and the Seocho District National Music Concours. She has also participated in prestigious summer programs, including the Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival.
Having taught students of various ages and skill levels for over four years, Seoin is committed to creating an encouraging and structured environment. She focuses on helping students build solid technical fundamentals while inspiring a genuine love and expression for music.
Ms. Seoin (soon to be Dr. Seoin) joined the faculty at ASM in 2026.
