Nancy Shepherd – Piano Instructor

Nancy has been a lifelong educator as a teacher in the Mesa School District since 1987. In 1989 she received her Master’s in Education. She has experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds. She spent time working with students on the Autism spectrum. In addition, Nancy has experience in curriculum development and strategic planning. But best of all, she can connect and relate with students and inspire them to excel.

Nancy studied piano for 12 years as a youngster. She began teaching piano in 2012 as she was coming out of the public school system in Mesa. She has absolutely loved working with piano students and seeing them progress.

We are very fortunate to have an instructor with Nancy’s wisdom and experience. She is a compassionate, patient teacher who knows how to get the best out of each student. She has been teaching at Arizona School of Music since 2024.
